Restoring confidence in kids whose parents had undergone an ugly divorce.

How can we help to restore confidence in kids whose parents had undergone an ugly divorce? Should kids be kept absolutely out of the situation? How can we best pray for these kids?

A brief introduction of our family:

My name is Eileen and my husband is Dan(Founder of NoDivorces) We've been married for 2 great years now. Dan has a 16, going 17 years old daughter Michelle from his previous marriage. She is a great step-daughter, I can ever hope to have, by the way.

Dan's first wife had affairs, divorced him and broke their marriage. It was the most unfortunate event for any one to go through and it was so for Dan. I think that kids suffer with a very low self-esteem after being emotionally involved and watching what their parents had gone through because of a divorce.

My hope is to help in whatever way I can to restore Michelle's confidence as she is quickly growing up to be a great lady as she is. And for me to become an active advocate to help save marriages because every marriage is worth saving!
