Hi everyone,

On the New Year's eve of 2009, our pastor wanted our church to pray and share over our resolutions that we wrote for 2010. So, we would end last year and begin this year with God. I was pondering over what Dan and I would do together in the year 2010.. As we were sharing about our thoughts on that, God reminded us that He has had called us both individually to be prayer warriors even while we were singles, for His Kingdom. In the end, God gave us a task to do together for 2010, that we would pray daily for the all the nations in the world using the book, Operation World. I would say that it's indeed a challenge for us both to fulfill this task, but with the presence of God, it shall be done!

Have you written down your resolutions for this year yet? What would they be..? Would this year be like any other years that you've had or would it be different? Some people say that if you have some goals to work toward, you are on the way to a highly satisfying year than one that is drifting by, aimlessly. What would it be? Life is too short to be wasting away on temporal things. It is wise for one to invest on what is essential and eternal. Do you truly believe that your family is worth all your investment? If you do, spare a moment on how you can keep your family together because they are precious to you. How about your relationship with God? Make this year the most fulfilling year. Again, what would your resolutions be?

I hope you would take time to think about what I've shared with you today. Remember, it is wise to put your investments on what is essential and of eternal value to you and your family. May 2010 truly be a year of great significance for you and your family. May the blessings of God be upon you and your family always.

Blessings,
Eileen
